Samsung Smart Signage (SSSP / commercial)

Samsung commercial displays can run EzeSigns directly with URL Launcher; packaged custom apps require Samsung enterprise signing.

Before you start

  • ✓Samsung commercial signage display with URL Launcher (including QM43C / SSSP 10)
  • ✓Latest firmware installed on the display
  • ✓Wired or Wi-Fi internet connection on the display
  • ✓The signage remote (the small white/black Samsung signage remote)

Installation steps

    Confirm it is a commercial display

    Model numbers starting with DM, DB, QM, QB, PM, OM, OH, QH, IF are Smart Signage Platform units. A regular consumer Samsung Smart TV (UE/UN/QE model numbers) does not have URL Launcher — use the Samsung Smart TV guide instead.

    Open URL Launcher settings

    On a QM43C press HOME, open URL Launcher Settings, and remove any previously installed custom app. Menu names can vary slightly by firmware.

    Set the launch URL

    Choose the normal URL/Launch URL field, not Install Web App. Install Web App only accepts a Tizen package signed with a Samsung Enterprise Distributor certificate.

    Enter the EzeSigns player URL

    Enter https://ezesigns.com/tv exactly and select Done. This is the lightweight Samsung player made for the QM43C URL Launcher; it does not load the normal website or require a signed package.

    Launch the player

    Press HOME and select URL Launcher. A 6-character pairing code appears. Set Play via → URL Launcher to open it automatically after power-on.

    Pair the screen

    In your dashboard go to Screens → Pair new screen, enter the code shown on the display and give the screen a name. Content starts playing within a few seconds.

    Auto-start and keep it running

    With Play via set to URL Launcher the display opens EzeSigns automatically on every power-on. Recommended extras: System → Auto Source Switching → Off, System → Power Control → Auto Power On, and set an On/Off Timer so the display reboots daily for a clean session.

Troubleshooting

I don't see URL Launcher in the menu
The display is either a consumer TV or running old firmware. Update the firmware via USB from Samsung's support site, then check System → Play via again.
Why does Install Web App fail or install but not open?
That mode requires a .wgt signed with both a Tizen author certificate and Samsung Enterprise Distributor certificate. Uninstall the failed custom app, then use URL Launcher with https://ezesigns.com/tv instead.
QM43C says the URL cannot be opened
Uninstall any previously installed custom app first, update the firmware, verify date/time and DNS, then enter https://ezesigns.com/tv under URL Launcher Settings. Do not choose Install Custom App.
An older D/E-series screen cannot connect over HTTPS
Some legacy SSSP 2/3 displays have expired root certificates and cannot install modern HTTPS packages. Those models need a local HTTP server or Samsung-supported USB deployment.
The display shows MagicInfo instead of my content
Play via is still set to MagicInfo. Set it to URL Launcher and restart the display.
Pairing code keeps changing
That is normal — codes expire until claimed. Enter the code currently shown on the display.
How do I re-pair or point it at a new account
Unpair the screen in your dashboard, or hold 0 on the remote for 5 seconds in the player to reset it.
Content is cut off or stretched
Set Picture → Picture Size to 16:9 / Screen Fit, and match the screen orientation (landscape or portrait) in the EzeSigns dashboard.
